Heartland Series Day 7

Heartland Series Day 7 is held on July 16, 2027, in Saint Cloud, Minnesota, closing the series. Five distances are offered: a 50K (31.1 mi), the marathon (26.2 mi), the half marathon (13.1 mi), a 10K (6.2 mi) and a 5K (3.1 mi). Start times are not listed in our records.

The final day is the one to race, if any of them is: there is nothing left to save yourself for, and a week of daily running has left you unusually well warmed up. Start conservatively even so — the first three miles will feel worse than they did on day one, and the legs typically come back somewhere around the fifth.
