Goat Rattler 100

Goat Rattler 100 is a 100-mile trail race organized by Enjoy the Journey Events in North Ogden, Utah, on September 11, 2026. The single format, the GR100, measures 162.5 km, or roughly 101 miles, and starts at 7:00 AM on Friday. North Ogden sits at the foot of the Wasatch Range, so plan on a mountain-trail setting.

A hundred-miler is the kind of race you commit to for a season, not a month. It fits runners who have already finished a 50-mile or 100K and want to take on the full night-and-day experience. Your build should run at least 20 weeks and include back-to-back long runs, plenty of climbing and descending, and at least one overnight session to rehearse headlamp running, layering and eating when you have no appetite. A crew and pacer plan, if allowed, is worth sorting early.
