Feast and Feathers Trail Races

Feast and Feathers Trail Races are held in Omaha, Nebraska, on November 26, 2026. Three trail distances are on the schedule: a half marathon (13.1 miles) at 8:00 AM, then the 10K and the 5K together at 8:10 AM. Everything starts within ten minutes, so a group or a family can split across distances and still finish in the same window of the morning.

Thanksgiving morning races are usually run for the day rather than for the clock, and this one supports that: the 5K welcomes anyone who runs occasionally, while the half gives regular runners a proper effort before the meal. If you plan to race the half hard, remember that Nebraska trails in late November can be frozen at 8:00 AM and soft by 10:00 — dress for the start you will get and choose shoes with grip.
