CRC Christmas Eve 5K

CRC Christmas Eve 5K is held in Mansfield, Texas, on the morning of December 24, 2026. Two formats are on the schedule: a 1 Mile Fun Run that sets off at 7:30 a.m., and the 5K (3.1 miles) half an hour later at 8:00 a.m. Both are done early enough to leave the rest of Christmas Eve free.

The half-hour gap between starts means you can run the mile with a child or a first-timer and still line up for the 5K, which is the option to choose if you want a real effort. A Christmas Eve 5K rarely deserves a taper; slot it into your week as a hard session, jog fifteen minutes beforehand, and run the first mile a touch under your target pace. If you are new to racing, the mile is the gentler place to start, and the 5K will still be there next year.
