Always Hope Easter Run 5K/10K/13.1 KANSAS CITY takes place in the Kansas City area on March 27, 2027, with a mass start at 7:30 a.m. for all four formats: 13.1 miles, 10K (6.2 miles), 5K (3.1 miles) and a one-mile Family Fun Run.

The half marathon here fits well as a spring goal race after a winter of base building, and it is short enough that you can recover in a week or two and turn straight into a summer training block. Break the distance into three parts when you race it: settle for four miles, work for five, then commit to the last four. If you are new to organized racing, the 5K asks far less of your schedule and still gives you the full start line experience.
