Walk for Water 5k - CA

Walk for Water is a charity 5K in Los Angeles, co-organized by Pathway To Tomorrow and Drop of Water to raise awareness and funds for African communities lacking access to clean drinking water.

Participants walk to experience, in a small way, the daily challenge faced by women and girls who travel long distances to fetch water, often at real cost to their health and safety. The event raises funds to support deep boreholes and rural piping networks in Ethiopian villages, aiming to bring clean, sustainable drinking water to thousands of people and ease the burden on families.
