RunUK Richmond Half Marathon Autumn

The RunUK Richmond Half Marathon Autumn takes place on 1 November 2026 in Richmond upon Thames, in west London, starting from Old Deer Park. There is a single event: a 21.1 km road half marathon starting at 9am. The course's elevation gain has not been published.

An autumn race in a London park often brings favourable conditions: cool temperatures, firm ground and a gentle route. That makes it a good setting for a personal best attempt, as long as you don't mistake cool for easy: warm up for longer than you would in summer, and run the first few kilometres a little slower than target pace. For a first half marathon, the useful benchmark is still the long run: if you can already run continuously for an hour and forty minutes in training, you can cover the distance. The 9am start leaves the rest of the morning free to recover.
