Race to the Center Half Marathon

The Race to the Center Half Marathon takes place in Smith Center, Kansas, near the geographic center of the contiguous United States. Two distances are offered: a 10K and a half marathon (13.1 miles), both making the most of the wide-open plains scenery around town. Lovewell State Park, the geographic center-of-the-nation marker, and Glen Elder State Park are all close by, giving runners a reason to explore a part of the country most never see.
