Pedal Golden Isles is organized by Bike Walk Golden Isles, a Glynn County nonprofit dedicated to improving safety for cyclists, pedestrians, and other non-motorized commuters. This recreational cycling ride starts and finishes at Risley Middle School in Brunswick, Georgia, and is designed to promote bike safety awareness. Riders can choose routes of roughly 20, 40, or 62 miles, and every participant receives a themed T-shirt, with several rest stops set up along the way. Bike Walk Golden Isles runs on grants and donations, using the event to further its mission and provide safety equipment to the community.
