About

The Bolivar Live Triathlon takes place at Fort Travis Seashore Park on the Bolivar Peninsula in Texas. The event includes a swim leg in the Gulf of Mexico, a bike leg along Highway 87, and a run through a local neighborhood with gulf views. Two distances are offered: a shorter format with a 0.5-mile swim, 12.5-mile bike, and 5K (3.1-mile) run, and a longer format with the same swim, a 25-mile bike, and a 10K (6.2-mile) run. Participants and spectators can enjoy a post-race evening with live music and food, and the course offers several vantage points for spectators along the way.
