Big Night Out Winchester

Big Night Out Winchester (BigNightOut: Dark Trails) is a night race held near the historic city of Winchester, Hampshire, on 7 November 2026, with 12 km and 22 km routes, both starting at 5:30pm. Participants follow a marked course by the light of their head torches, setting off from the Winchester athletics track and heading out onto the South Downs Way.

The race offers sweeping views of the night sky and takes in scenic spots such as Cheesefoot Head and St Catherine's Hill. Runners must carry a head torch and enough water. The event provides a bag drop and refreshment points, and participants can choose to have a tree planted instead of receiving a medal.
